We are looking for a Fullstack Engineer to play a key role in our expanding core technology group that translates our vision into a solid SaaS product and breath life into wireframes by creating maintainable code that produces delightful, scalable and easy to use applications. The fullstack engineer will be working with a team of strong tech leads, and is expected to explore and learn new technologies, lead the design and implementation our web clients, reason and communicate your opinions as well as accept others’ approaches.
Responsibilities
As part of your role you will:
- Participate in designing, building and maintaining our SaaS platform. Develop code both on the backend and the frontend, using cutting-edge industry standards, with extra focus on performance, security, and clean code.
- Take part in designing, developing and delivering scalable web application, new features and web services to support Nemodata’s vision.
- Collaborating with team members on technological and architectural topics.
- Work closely with our research team, developers, product, operations and other team members to define and plan the future of the system.
- Be proactive, striving to understand why things are done the way they are.
Requirements
- A meaningful hands-on experience with web technologies and development, both front and back-end.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, CSS, and HTML. Understanding of the DOM.
- Experience with implementing/connecting REST APIs.
- Experience with React.
- Experience with web back-end development, preferably using Ruby/On Rails.
- Knowledge in Databases (SQL, NoSQL, Key-Value).
- A clean coder with readable, simple, and maintainable code. Ability to recognize bad code, leave things better than how they were found and continuously search for better solutions.
- Meticulous regarding tests, quality and coverage. Experience with unit, integration, and e2e testing.
- Familiar with AWS eco-system.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to assess and apply all resources needed to solve an issue.
